Summer Vacation

Summer has come and gone, and I'm just realizing now that I went on two trips this summer and failed to write about either of them. So just for claritys sake, here they are in less than 1000 words...

1. Went to Disney World with the family. I wasn't sure how good a time I would have, but I didn't want to leave when it was time to go home. Obsessed over the World Showcase at Epcot. Spaceship Earth was closed- boo. Discovered that as an adult, you can do entire parks in less than a day. Ate salad. The heat was the most brutal I've ever experienced. Good times. Enjoyed the "Disney Dining Plan" and ate more than I've ever eaten before in my life. By the end of the week I felt like a Thanksgiving turkey.



2. Went to Vegas for Jarrod's bachelor party. Was robbed by the "Monopoly" and "Deal Or No Deal" slots. Got sick from expensive gelato at the Bellagio. Got sick from eating at the buffet drunk. Went to the top of the stratosphere. Discovered that I was the exact sort of idiot that casinos love to steal money from. I was completely convinced that I could hit the progressive jackpot if I could just get the bonus game one more time.
